Hi, I'm Claire.

I've been helping B2B and technology companies hit their goals with persuasive, engaging copy for about a decade. 

When I'm not crafting copy, you can find me at the gym, rock n roll dancing or trying to keep my plants alive. I like a mojito on a hot day, the golden sunshine of autumn, and carby pasta goodness.

Who am I?

Not satisfied with one degree, I tackled two and zipped through them in four caffeine-fuelled, anxiety-driven years. I have a Bachelor of Journalism and a Bachelor of Media and Communications, majoring in International Communication and Broadcast Journalism. I graduated both with Distinction.

Almost a decade later (that was some sobering maths), I've worked in corporate event production and marketing, and with a global through-channel partner marketing agency. In these positions, I've been lucky enough to work with some of the most renowned organisations in the world; HPE, Google, IAG, Bank of Queensland, NASA, even The White House. Yes, you read that right.

I'm also a two-time author of fantasy and suspense novels with more on the way. That's a very different type of writing, but if you're interested you can check it out here.

After several years of honing my skills with large enterprises, I saw the opportunity to make a bigger impact working with small-to-medium-sized businesses. That's where you can really see the effect of good copy. So, here we are at Claire Dowler Copywriting.

My office manager, Dexter, makes sure I take I get my regular dose of serotonin, breaks for snacks and walkies. He's also a 5-year-old Kelpie.
